[After a moment there is a new notice, this time the girl speaks in a cheerful voice]

[ It wasn't even that she was too kind. Even when Watanuki asked her to do something she would say yes if she wanted to do it... but she would always find a way out of that. Now a days she had found polite excuses to get out of things she didn't want to do. Here? She meant it and intended to go. There would be no weaseling out of it. With age she had gotten better about these things.]

[The sound of his voice made her smile more, glad to hear such a tone from him. Perhaps this would do him as well as her some good.]

I'll be sure to be ready by five then. [to which she proves that a lady can be ready on time....even when her hair is oh so very long!] Do... you know what you might be wearing? [.......yes, she was already planning.]

[Graham looked over that newly tailored and pressed outfit that hung in his open closet. It reminded him of the classic wears of the 19th century illusionists. Lecter suggested to top it off with a top-hat and rabbit, but Graham ... politely declined.]

Kind of a black Victorian get-up. A tail-coat with a mask, nothing too crazy.

[The first suggestion had been a Dragon Slayer, to which Graham was hardly amused by.]

[She was leaning back now, considering some of the dresses she had been eyeing before. A masquerade isn't really costumey but more fancy and fun. She was sure she could find something worth while, and his tail coat and mask, as he put it, seemed simple enough.]

It sounds perfect. I look forward to seeing it! [Black, also, would be easy to match, so she was even more free to pick something well suited] I... I look forward to the masquerade as well. Thank you.

It'll be neat to do something out of the norm.

[This was so out of his comfort zone, but it was a step forward in a direction he was hoping was the right one. Lecter had only steered him wrong on one occasion ... one that should have trumped all the others, but his gut told him he could deal with the outcome of this, for better or worse.]

It should be a lot of fun. [she agreed, smiling grandly in reply to everything. She would not be able to sleep tonight, that was for sure. Her thoughts would wander to far too many places and wouldn't let her rest. She already knew that would happen. Still, she didn't mind now.]
